Recommended Usage and Handling Guidelines

  • Fully charge battery before initial use. Refer to the instruction manual that came with your digital camera or charger for instructions on charging.
  • Optimum charging results are obtained when charging at normal room temperature, 70˚F (21˚C) +/- 8˚F (2˚C). Charging at temperatures below 50˚F (10˚C) or above 95˚F (35˚C) is not recommended.
  • The battery has No Memory Effect. It is not necessary to fully discharge this battery before recharging or is it necessary to ˝recondition˝ this battery. You can charge or ˝ top off ˝ this battery at any time.
  • For storage beyond 2 weeks, it is recommended that this battery be fully charged, removed from digital camera and storage in a cool, dry place. If the battery remains in storage for a prolonged period of time, it should be fully charged every 6 months.
  • Running time depends on the power demanded by the equipment. Use of zooms, auto focus, LCD displays, etc., all demand extra power and shorten run time.

Safety Instructions:

  • Do not short circuit the battery. This battery is protected by an internal self-resetting fuse, but short circuit may still cause severe damage to the battery.
  • Do not disassemble or attempt to open the battery.
  • Keep away from fire. Do not incinerate when disposing of the battery.
  • Do not expose this battery only in equipment and chargers that specify its use.
